On September 26, 2024, Pop Mart officially opened its first-ever theme park — right in the heart of Chaoyang Park, Beijing’s largest and most popular urban park. Covering over 40,000 square meters, Pop Mart City Park combines interactive art, immersive storytelling, and adorable experiences featuring beloved characters like MOLLY, LABUBU, DIMOO, and more.

1. What Makes Pop Mart City Park Special?

Pop Mart City Park is more than a playground — it’s an entire character universe come to life. Designed in collaboration with the Chaoyang Park, it’s the world’s first Pop Mart urban theme park and a must-visit attraction for anyone exploring China’s capital.

2. Pop Mart Park Zones and Attractions

The park is divided into multiple themed zones, each offering a different side of Pop Mart’s whimsical world.

Bubble Street is the first stop for most visitors entering from the West Gate. It’s a vibrant boulevard lined with larger-than-life Pop Mart character installations. This is also where you can pick up a Pop Mart Passport, a collectible booklet that lets you collect stamps at seven different checkpoints throughout the park. For those who love arcade-style fun, the Street Game House and Panda Rush provide entertaining challenges, often with Pop Mart-themed prizes at stake.

LABUBU’s Forest Adventure: Through a hollow tree doorway, guests discover wooden climbing structures surrounded by greenery and themed interactive games. From the wind chime zipline to the fairy slingshot and the spinning battle platform, every activity is designed for both children and playful adults.

The Fairy Treehouse: an enchanting structure nearly five meters tall. Guests spiral upward inside the trunk to explore hidden nooks and themed decorations, all surrounded by oversized mushrooms that look like they’ve grown out of a children’s picture book.

Mystic Fishing Village: the pace slows down. Inspired by LABUBU’s everyday life, this rustic zone features small wooden cabins and lakeside paths that feel calm and cozy. It’s less about action and more about atmosphere — a quiet, picturesque corner perfect for Instagram.

Happy Campground: provides wide-open grassy lawns with beautiful lake views. Families often spread out picnic blankets, and solo travelers find shaded benches to rest and recharge.

Brave Tribe: a Viking-style village where LABUBU appears in costume to host live shows and parades. The area is decorated with wooden huts, shields, and warrior-inspired details, creating an adventurous vibe. Performances are held at scheduled times, making it worth checking the show calendar in advance.

MOLLY’s Castle: the most iconic landmark inside Pop Mart City Park. With its fairytale architecture and lakeside location, it has quickly become a viral photo spot on Chinese social media. Inside the castle, guests can explore a collectibles gallery, immersive exhibitions, two themed restaurants, and a full Pop Mart product store stocked with exclusive blind boxes and limited-edition merch. Don’t miss the “Let’s Meet at the Park” blind box series, which is only available here.

Lakeside Zone: Visitors can board the DIMOO Tasty Adventure Boat, a whimsical ride across the water where sweet treats and drinks are served. Whether you’re enjoying afternoon tea by the lake or simply taking in the view of MOLLY’s Castle reflected in the water, this area provides a relaxing way.
